if only men treat women the way they treat their cars

time and time again i meet men who would treat their cars or other men's cars like its the best thing that can ever happen to them. 'Its my first wife' they beam and smile.

case in point..i met a client of mine today whom i have been seeing for really important business prospects and he happens to be working at one of the most influential government ministries here. it just so happen that i have to drive the company car for reasons only god knows...anyway.. the car happened to be a SMART CAR for 2. and as you all know SMART CARS are expensive in Malaysia. I can buy an apartment for that kind of money! well in Bangi at least.

so mr 'i am important government business contact to your hotel man' had just one look at the SMARTCAR and blurted out all information i needed including budgets and whatever to me ( i swear i saw him salivate)..info that i would never have had even if i would begged him , wash his car, clothes, feed his family and cat , pay his housing loan and his holiday expenses! All in the name of giving him the bloody car and letting him have a spin.

another case in point...mr i am a important head of division and i am too busy to entertain you...bump into him at the same parking lot and lore and behold the man practically left his car unattended with the keys still stuck in the ignition and walk up to me and just stared at the car...

Is that yours? he had to ask. (duh?)
Yes , I said. 'Would you like to test drive it?'
uhuh...took the keys from my hands and got into the drivers seat
Errr how about your car? i ask

sigh if only all men would treat women the way they treat their cars...life would be so simple

when my friend's BMW radiator gave problems when he was half way to Kuantan...did he fret? noooooooo...just quietly send the car to the mechanic and paid 2K for the repair. one week prior to that something fell off and he got stranded on the highway..did he cursed and got upset? nooooo can smile smile and call his buddy to help him bring the mechanic to look at the car.

Why oh why lord do men treat their cars better then women?
